OKSANA ORLENKO
(Lana)

| |
Oksana Orlenko was born and raised in Odessa, Ukraine,
where at an early age she received intensive drama, dance
and musical training. The daughter of a successful movie
make-up artist, Oksana spent much of her youth on movie
sets, becoming infatuated with the world of cinema and
the idea of acting. Oksana came to America in 1995 and
made Chicago her home base until moving to Los Angeles
in December, 2002 where she has pursued acting and modeling
opportunities. Lana’s Rain marks her debut performance
in an American film and she was recently honored with
the Best Actress Award at the 2003 Milan International
Film Festival for her performance. |

NICKOLAI STOILOV
(Darko)

| |
Nickolai Stoilov graduated from the Bulgarian National
Academy of Theatre and Film Arts, receiving an MA in acting
in only three years. He then went on to study Shakespearean
course work in Britain at the Guildford School of Acting.
A short time later, Mr. Stoilov came to the United States
and entered an advanced acting program at Stanford University
where he worked with several renowned actors. His vast
education, acting ability and language skills (he speaks
French, Bulgarian, Russian and English) have earned him
a variety of roles in television, theatre and film. Several
of his film and television highlights include “Sabrina
the Teenage Witch”, “Not of this Earth”,
“The Assassination Game” and the syndicated
series, “V.I.P.”. He is based in Los Angeles. |

LUOYONG WANG
(Julian)

Luoyong Wang was born in the People’s Republic
of China where he trained at the Hubei Shi Yan Beijing
Opera School. In 1995, he was nominated for Best Actor
at the Fei Tian Awards in China (comparable to an Emmy
in the U.S.), for his work in the TV series “From
the New World”. Luoyoung’s U.S. film and television
credits include “Dragon (The Life of Bruce Lee)”,
“Daylight”, “Vanishing Son” and
“The Piano Teacher”. Mr. Wang is currently
on Broadway in “Miss Saigon” playing the lead
role of the Engineer.

STEPHANIE CHILDERS
(Katrina)

Stephanie Childers graduated from Illinois State University
with a BS in Acting in 1998. She has worked with many
prestigious regional and Chicago theatres including Famous
Door, Roadworks and Steppenwolf. Recently, she played
the role of Nurse Finn in Steppenwolf’s production
of “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest”
(in Chicago and London), starring Gary Sinise and directed
by Terry Kinney and later played the same role with the
original case on Broadway. “Lana’s Rain”
is her first full length feature film. |

DAVID DARLOW
(The General)

| |
David Darlow has had an impressive career as a character
actor in numerous mainstream Hollywood films. Some of
his notable roles have been in the Coen Brothers’
“Miller’s Crossing”, “The Fugitive”,
“Hoodlum”, “Ride with the Devil”,“High
Fidelity” and "Road to Perdition". He
will soon start shooting "Weatherman" with Nicholas
Cage and Michael Caine, and can be seen in "Design"
at the Gene Siskel Theatre. He has been active in the
Chicago theatre scene recently appearing in Remy Bumppo's
"Major Barbara" and Ravinia Festival's "Passion".
Mr. Darlow’s television work has included roles
in “Kung Fu: The Next Generation with Brandon Lee”,
“The Untouchables”, “Missing Persons”,
“Barney Miller” and “Barnaby Jones”.

STACEY SLOWIK

Born and raised on the north side of Chicago, Stacey
Slowik has long been an avid fan and student of that city’s
rich tradition of Theater. Stacey has studied Theater
throughout the Chicagoland area, including the College
of DuPage, where she performed with both the McAnich Theatre
and the Buffalo Theatre Ensemble. In addition, she has
worked out of the Improv Olympic and spent two years as
an ensemble member of Theatre Eclectic, where she broadened
her scope by focusing her roles on dark comedy. “Lana’s
Rain” is her first full length feature film. |

RON DEAN

Ron Dean is a veteran Chicago based actor who has
appeared in countless movies that have been shot in
Chicago, including roles in all of Andy Davis’s
films going back to the early 1980’s. His gruff
exterior and character parts always add to the flavor
of the finished product on the screen and represents
a Chicago style of acting audiences are familiar with.
Mr. Dean’s list of film credits include “Continental
Divide”, “Risky Business”, “Code
of Silence”, “The Color of Money”,
“Cocktail”, “Above the Law”,
“The Package”, “The Babe”, “The
Fugitive”, “Rudy”, The Client”,
“Steal Big, Steal Little”, “Eye for
an Eye” and “The Chain Reaction” among
others.
